The revelation was confirmed by sporting director Michael Zorc during the Inside Borussia Dortmund documentary, the latest edition of Amazon’s ‘All of Nothing’ series which first followed Manchester City.
Sancho, who scored his first two goals for England against Kosovo on Tuesday night, has been strongly linked with a return to the Premier League.
His sensational emergence and glittering performances in Germany have alerted the likes of Man United and his former club Man City, who reportedly have a buy-back option for the winger.contact madeDavid Beckham making audacious attempt to sign Lionel Messi for MLS franchisepatriotFive players who shined more for their country than their clubREVEALEDHow Man United forwards compare to big six rivals' goals per game recordssloppy'The players weren't taking it seriously' - Roy Keane's rant at England performancewantedMan United and Spurs to reignite interest in Paulo Dybala in JanuaryPAPER TALKChelsea chasing duo, Man City ace promises to sign for club, Beckham wants Messino joyMkhitaryan opens up on Arsenal and Man United nightmareLOST TIME'I’ve never been prouder and more privileged to pull on an Arsenal shirt'
In the show, Zorc confirms a meeting took place with United representatives over a possible deal for Sancho, but also insisted he was confident the 19-year-old would stay.
Speaking in a meeting with fellow Dortmund chiefs Matthias Sammer, Sebastian Kehl and chairman Hans-Joachim Watzke, he says: “A hot topic right now is Sancho and Manchester United, both his discussions with the club and mine with the consultants.
“A meeting did take place. Manchester United invited the consultant.
“But according to what I know, the consultant told the club that no matter how much money they offer, we won’t let him go this summer.
“But the player also has no intention of taking that step this summer.”

Sancho reportedly remains one of Manchester United’s top transfer targets and there are rumours they could launch a £100m bid to land him in January.
The Reds Devils were also given hope a deal could be done, with the youngster recently refusing to rule out a possible return to the Premier League, admitting he ‘wouldn’t mind’ moving back to England.
But recent reports from Germany have also claimed the winger has already agreed a lucrative new contract to commit his future to Dortmund which would double his wages to around £10m-per-year.
There’s no wonder clubs are lining up for the England sensation.
No player in Europe’s top five leagues has produced more assists in league football than Sancho since the start of last season – 17.
That total includes four in five appearances for Dortmund this term, as well as three goals.
